The Apiezon range of vacuum waxes and compounds provides solutions for vacuum sealing, mounting, masking and temporary sealing applications.
The range includes Apiezon Wax W and Q Compound, along with other wax products designed for permanent or semi-permanent mounting and vacuum sealing applications.
- Apiezon Wax W: Also known as “Black Wax,” this versatile wax can be used as a permanent or semi-permanent vacuum sealant and mounting medium. It is also used as an etch resist, including applications in electronics, semiconductor and printed circuit board manufacturing.
- Apiezon Q Compound: A temporary vacuum sealant for applications where a short-term seal is required. It can be used around flat unground joints, to temporarily blank sections of apparatus, or to create temporary vacuum enclosures.
- Vacuum Sealing & Mounting: Apiezon waxes and compounds can be used for sealing and mounting components in scientific and vacuum equipment applications.
